Strawberry jam jar at a village fair stall poster

Strawberry jam at the village fair poster, “BERRY PRESERVE”

In the foreground, an open jar of strawberry jam with a spoon stuck in it sits proudly on a wooden stall, its gingham lid set beside it. Behind it, a pyramid of jars and baskets of fresh strawberries, a farmer handing a jar to a child, then the village square with its plane trees and stone church. This vertical poster dives into a summer village fair, delicious and convivial. The reds of the strawberries and the tones of wood and stone dominate. The title “BERRY PRESERVE” accompanies the scene.

A mouthwatering poster for the kitchen or breakfast nook

It finds its place in a kitchen, a breakfast nook, a dining room or a grocery shop. Vertical, it is easy to hang above a shelf of jars, a sideboard or beside a table. Its reds and natural tones go well with gingham, wood, earthenware, wicker and glass jars. Mixed with other fruit or market posters, it makes up a gourmet wall. A great gift idea for someone who makes homemade jam, a strawberry grower, a food-loving grandmother, or for a housewarming.
