about this poster

Red berries and pears still life poster

On a table covered with a sage green tablecloth, a cream bowl filled with cherries and raspberries sits beside 3 green pears. The deep reds of the berries, the green of the pears, the yellow background and the folds of the tablecloth make for a mouthwatering, peaceful image. This still life poster follows the tradition of painters’ still lifes, with soft lighting that caresses the fruit and the fabric. The title “FRUIT STILL LIFE” is printed on the image.

A still life for the dining room or kitchen

Classic and warm, it fits in a dining room, a kitchen, a living room or an entryway. Its reds and greens pair well with dark wood, linen, antique tableware and walls in deep shades. Other still lifes or botanical posters can keep it company. A great gift for a lover of classic painting, a cook, a food lover or anyone who enjoys elegant, warm interiors.

Your questions

What does “FRUIT STILL LIFE” mean?

A “still life” is a painting of inanimate objects arranged on a table. The title therefore means a still life with fruit, which is exactly what the poster shows: a bowl of cherries and raspberries and pears on a draped table.

Which room suits this still life?

It is especially suited to a dining room or a kitchen. Its deep reds pair well with dark wood, linen and dark-colored walls.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
