Nîmes féria matador in the Roman arena poster

Nîmes poster, matador in the Roman arena

In the Roman arena of Nîmes, a matador stands in profile on the sand, his red cape spread. All around, the tall stone arcades of the amphitheater encircle him like a crown of golden stone. This Nîmes poster captures the atmosphere of the féria, between bullfighting tradition and ancient monument. Warm tones of stone and sand dominate, brightened by the red of the cape, in a vertical composition. The title “NÎMES” accompanies this scene.

The Nîmes féria for a living room or a bar

Its tones of stone, sand and red bring warmth to a living room, a dining room, an entryway or a tapas bar. It pairs well with terracotta, raw wood, wrought iron, leather, and white or ocher walls. Its vertical format sits nicely above a sideboard or a console. It can join other posters of the South or of férias. It is an easy gift choice for a Nîmois, a féria regular, an aficionado or a lover of the Gard.
