Naturalist freshwater river fish poster

Freshwater fish in a clear river poster

Like a naturalist plate, freshwater fish swim among the reeds of a clear river: a pike, a trout, a perch, a carp and a roach. On the riverbed, aquatic plants and pebbles complete the scene. This river fish poster, in a horizontal format, details the scales, fins and markings unique to each species. The blue of the sky and water, the orangey sand and the greens of the fish and plants make a soft, realistic palette. The title “RIVER LIFE” accompanies the composition.

A well-stocked river for an angler

Its landscape format sits nicely above a desk, a dresser, an entryway bench or a sofa. Its blues, greens and orangey sand pair well with wood, leather, oilcloth, khaki tones and a country-house feel. It can join other naturalist plates. It makes a lovely gift for a fly fisherman, a member of an angling club, a water bailiff, a child learning to recognize fish or a grandfather who likes to fish for roach.
