about this poster

Golden gratin dauphinois in a terracotta dish poster

Golden and still bubbling, a gratin dauphinois comes out of the oven in an oval terracotta dish. You can make out the thin potato slices bathed in cream. Beside it rest garlic cloves, a whole nutmeg and a wooden spoon. The title “CREAMY GRATIN” accompanies this gratin dauphinois poster, which celebrates a traditional French recipe in a mouthwatering portrait-format scene of warm golden tones.

A delicious recipe for the kitchen

Made for a kitchen, it hangs above a countertop, near a stove or in a dining room. Its golden tones go well with terracotta, wood, enameled cast iron and linen dish towels. In a restaurant or a mountain inn, it makes mouths water. Pair it with other dish or ingredient posters. It is a delicious gift for a lover of regional cooking, someone from the Dauphiné or friends who often host around a good meal.
