about this poster

Botanical poster of flowering thyme and rosemary, “HERB GARDEN”

A sprig of thyme and a branch of rosemary stand side by side in the foreground, drawn with their small, tightly packed leaves. The tall, upright rosemary bears small mauve flowers, and the thyme tiny white ones. Behind them stretch green hills, cypress trees and the sea under a clear blue sky. The soft greens and the blue of the sky create a fresh, soothing image, accompanied by the title “HERB GARDEN” in capitals beneath the illustration.

Illustrated herbs for the kitchen

It has a natural place in a kitchen, near the countertop or the herb pots, but also in a dining room or a sunroom. Its soft greens pair well with wood, linen, terracotta and white ceramic. It can form a series with other botanical prints of aromatic plants or flowers. It makes a delicate gift for a cook who grows herbs on the balcony, an amateur gardener, an herbalist or a lover of Provence.

Your questions

Which plants appear on the “HERB GARDEN” poster?

It shows a sprig of thyme and a branch of rosemary, drawn side by side in front of a landscape of hills and sea, with their small leaves and their mauve and white flowers. “HERB GARDEN” means “a garden of aromatic herbs.”

Which room should I hang this botanical poster in?

The kitchen is its natural home, near the herb pots or the countertop. Its soft tones also suit a dining room, a sunroom or a corner of a conservatory.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
