about this poster

French bistro poster, terrace and waiter, “BON APPETIT”

On the terrace of a French bistro, a waiter walks by with a plate in hand in front of 2 small round tables. The tablecloths are red checkered, the chairs are bentwood, and 2 large wine bottles tower over the yellow façade with green shutters. Soft sunlight lights up the cobblestone street and the big tree. This bistro poster gathers the familiar details of the French table, the ones that make you want to sit down. The warm tones create a friendly atmosphere. The title “BON APPETIT” wishes you a good meal (in French).

Bistro spirit for the kitchen or dining room

It hangs in a kitchen, a dining room, a dining nook or a restaurant, and its golden tones warm up a white or bottle-green wall. It pairs with bistro chairs, dark wood, zinc, checkerboard tiles and checkered tablecloths. It can join other café or wine posters. It makes a gift for a lover of French cuisine, a restaurateur, a chef or friends who often entertain around a big table.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
