about this poster

Manila poster, fisherman’s bangka in the bay at sunset

On Manila Bay at sunset, a traditional bangka with bamboo outriggers carries a fisherman hauling in his net. Other bangkas glide across the calm sea, and the sun sinks behind the mountains of Bataan. The title “MANILLE” accompanies this peaceful, warm Manila poster. The oranges of the sunset and the deep blues of the sea create a serene image, which the vertical format centers on the fisherman.

A Philippine sunset for the living room or bedroom

Its oranges and deep blues warm up a living room, a bedroom, an entryway or a home office. It pairs with bamboo, rattan, dark wood, linen and tropical plants. Its calm scene suits a room for unwinding. You can pair it with other posters of Southeast Asia or fishing boats. It is a meaningful gift for a Filipino family, a traveler back from Manila or a lover of sunsets over the sea.
