about this poster

Bomber at sunset poster, “DUSK PATROL”

A large four-engine propeller bomber crosses the sky above a peaceful landscape. Its long wings are lit by the orange glow of the setting sun, while layered clouds stretch across the horizon where the sun slowly sinks. This dusk aviation poster plays on warm evening tones of orange, ochre and deep blue, in an illustrated poster style. The landscape orientation echoes the wingspan of the aircraft. The title “DUSK PATROL” evokes a patrol flown at twilight.

A plane at dusk for an office or living room

In landscape orientation, it sits well above a desk, a sofa or a bookcase. Its oranges and deep blues pair with leather, dark wood, metal and dark or cream walls. It brings a calm, warm atmosphere to a workspace. You can combine it with other aviation posters to create a themed wall. It makes a gift for an aviation history enthusiast, a model collector or a former air force member.
