about this poster

Pin-up secretary at a typewriter poster

A pin-up secretary types on a big typewriter set on a wooden desk, a sheet rolled into the platen. A desk lamp lights the scene, and through the window you can see the city buildings. This secretary poster carries the title “TYPE IT OUT” and radiates the charm of old-fashioned offices and a job well done. The vertical framing brings the young woman, the typewriter and the city view together in a single composition.

A nod to the office, for remote work

Vertical, it hangs above a home desk, in a coworking space or in a professional practice. Its wood tones pair well with walnut, black metal, leather and articulated-arm lamps. It brings good cheer to a remote-work corner. You can combine it with other pin-up or typewriter posters. It is a fun gift for an assistant, a secretary retiring, an office colleague or a friend who writes a lot.

Your questions

What does “TYPE IT OUT” mean?

“Type it out” is an English phrase meaning to write something down on a keyboard or typewriter. The title accompanies a pin-up secretary typing on a big typewriter, a sheet rolled into the platen.

Who should you give this secretary poster to?

It will make an assistant, a secretary, an office colleague or a friend who writes smile. It is also a lovely retirement or new job gift.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
